De verdad esperaba empezar a mostrar mi arte cuando fuera excelente... pero la vida es MUY corta!

Un artista en construcción quien deja importantes huellas de su recorrido una y otra vez, buscando nuevas formas de expresarse y capturando vivencias.

Inicia sus estudios de arte en el taller de Hugo Sánchez,, artista consolidado de la pintura c ostarricense, en donde forma parte de exposiciones grupales. Allí aprende la diferencia entre el ver y el observar cuidadosamente. Los bodegones y paisajes dan paso a temáticas surrealistas, que utiliza para comunicar mensajes ocultos entre colores y figuras.

Su necesidad de expresarse continúa durante su educación, en secundaria lleva dibujo técnico y durante su estudios universitarios sigue transformando en arte sus memorias de infancia y de su amada familia. La pintura pasa a ser el refugio de un mundo cuadrado y concluye con éxito su licenciatura como Ingeniero Industrial, una carrera que le permitirá experimentar el mundo de los negocios a través de compañías multinacionales y organizaciones, a lo largo de América Central, Colombia (2006) y grandes ciudades como Nueva York (2007) o París y Estocolmo (2008).

El óleo cede paso al acrílico y su arte se torna más conceptual, expresando sentimientos, instantes y metáforas que retan nuestra vista y nos permiten convertirnos en testigos de sus priopias visiones. También a través de algunas de sus pinturas podemos reconocer grandes momentos de su vida personal en Bélgica (1997), Italia (1998), Alemania(2003) o Chipre (2008).

Sus exitosas muestras del 2005 "Pasos de un Caminante", 2007 "Sin Miedo", 2008 "Bamboo, el brillo del viento" afirman su compromiso por continuar descubriéndose como artista. Promete no dejar de crecer y evolucionar, pues de hecho, si algo tiene claro Crisanto, es que el cambio es constante y que un artista crea, sobre su vida... y la vida cambia.

A partir del 2009, reforzará una de sus metas, que es aportar con su trabajo a mejorar la vida de los niños a través del arte, un ejemplo es trasmitirles a ustedes información sobre los Programas de Padrinos que el Hospicio de Huérfanos de San Jose esta llevando a cabo.

Para el 2010 y 2011 deja Costa Rica para radicar en la isla de Chipre y empezar una nueva etapa de su vida, trabajando como ingeniero en una empresa rusa, lo que le continua siendo para Crisanto un vistazo a otras culturas, aquellas que nunca seran suyas.

Los pinceles estan capturando por el momento retratos de lo cotidiano en la isla mediterranea, costumbres, paisajes y vistas esta sociedad que alguna vez fue turco griega.

An artist under construction who leaves once and again important traces from his parcour, looking for new ways to express himself and capturing lifetime memories.

Crisanto started his art studies under the tutory of Hugo Sánchez, consolidated artist from CostaRican painting scenario, where he takes part from groupal expositions. He learns the difference between watching and carefuly observing. Dead nature paintings and landscape views open room for the surreal themes, used by him to comunicate hidden messages among colours and shapes.

The expression need continues during his education, during highschool he took technical design studies and during college he transforms into art his beloved family and childhood memories . Painting remains as his refugee from this squared world until he finishes succesfuly his degree as Industrial Engineer, a carreer that would allow him experience the business world through multinational companies and organizations all over Central America, Colombia (2006) and big cities such as NewYork (2007)or Paris and Stockholm (2008).

The oil colours let the acrilic take place and his art became more conceptual, expressing feelings, instants and metaphores that challenge our sight but always allow us to become witnesses of his own visions. Through his paintings we could see important personal moments from Belgium (1997), Italy (1998), Germany (2003) or Cyprus (2008).

His succesful installations from 2005 "Walker steps", 2007 "Fear less", 2008 "Bamboo, the shinning wind" confirm an engagement from the artist to continue discovering himself as an artist. He promisses to not stop growing and evoluing, indeed, if something is clear to Crisanto, is that change is a constant in our lives and that an artist creates about his own life... and life changes.

From 2009 he will reinforce one of his goals: improve through Art the life quality of the children, one example is to bring information about the Children Sponsor Program of the San Jose Children Orphan House.

By the 2010 and 2011 Crisanto leaves Costa Rica to work in a new project for a russian company this time, in the island of Cyprus. This new face as engineer brings a glance to the russian background and other cultures, that will never be his.

Paint brushes continue to capture the views of the everyday's life in this mediterranean island, traditions, landscapes and views of this, once a turkish greek society.
